The picture was actually taken only a few months ago. I was attending my nieces wedding and I spent half my time standing pretending to take alot of pictures. Truth is, I was afraid the little folding chair would give way under my weight.
For whatever reason, it didn't and for that I am grateful.
I joined Weight Watchers within the week and though I am down 27 pounds its like squeezing a pimple. Except for the scar, its not like anybody is noticing yet.
I know how to work the program to get results but sometimes the effort just doesn't seem to be worth it. Also, it is very true - Its not really about what your eating, its whats eating you!
I have a lifetime of issues! I've lost 184 pounds to only gain it back, another time, 120 lbs, Oh Dear.... not to mention 20, 67, 82. The point is I've always gained it back.
From this point on, I will be sharing positive energy, alot of pictures and updates - on my path to Wellness. Its a journey well traveled but this time will be my GREATEST Adventure.

Hi, Debra! Just wanted to stop by and check out your blog. Oh lord, the number of times I have broken or mangled a folding chair--it makes me even more self-conscious when I go to a cookout or wedding or other social event. Not only am I worried about popping out of my outfit, but I worry about being the fat girl that broke the damn chair. Anyway, you have a fabulous spirit and I look forward to reading all about this great adventure of yours!
